Background Story

March 2020

The pandemic rocked our worlds. In early 2020, women around the globe were faced with big decisions; flexibility to fit our many roles into the ever-changing landscape became more important than ever. Many of us left jobs to support our loved ones and we all had to reimagine the way we did business.

Early 2021

Three moms who are accounting professionals came together and committed to an accounting project to help facilitate a $115 Million client acquisition. The challenge was complex, fast moving, exciting, and required tech-savvy skills and excellent financial reporting knowledge. We accepted the challenge and the project was successful. Because we had so much fun, we kept going. MOD Accounting & Tax was born! We built a virtual, women-led, accounting, tax, and back office CPA firm with clients and team members from coast to coast to coast.
